LABORERS’ LOCAL 157
NEWS AND NOTES
Hello; I’m Josh Shaul, your new Business Manager. I’d like to give you a little information about myself.
I’ve been a resident of Middleburgh my whole life; I received my bachelors from SUNY Cobleskill in Agronomy in 2001, and worked for a year as a national resource specialist for Albany County. I decided I wanted to do something different, so I started with the laborers in 2002, working 3 ½ years with August Bohl and 7 ½ years with DA Collins before coming into the office as the Field Representative. My back ground in construction is mostly on the heavy highway side doing road reconstruction and pipe work with Bohl. I also worked on bridge & dam rehabs, hydroelectric plants, dredging and haz-matt projects with DA Collins. I look forward to working with all the members of 157 as your Business Manager.
Greetings,
Just a quick note; John Drinon took over the position of Assistant Business Manager. John has been a 157 member since 1994 and sets on the Executive Board.
Dan Hladik is the Field Representative; he has been a member of the local since 2000 and also sets on the Executive Board.
